Curious to hear arguments regarding the toughest division/league in the state with respect to dual meet competition. I believe the SCC takes this one...

Yes, the FCIAC has Danbury and Warde-- both teams at the top of the food chain. But after that the level of competition drops off considerably (when compared to the SCC). Stamford, Trumbull, Greenwich...? These are respectable teams, but I doubt they would finish in the top half of the SCC.

Think about it... Xavier. Amity. Hand. Law. Shelton... If you have any of these teams on your schedule there's no free lunch. They're all either top-10 in the state or knocking at the door. And teams like Guilford and Fairfield Prep, granted, are not making anyone's top-10 list, but they fill just about every weight class and come ready to scrap.

Now, I'm not talking about who has the best overall individual talent, but rather who puts out the better dual meet competition.

Don't know if any of these wrestlers wrestled during the season this is based mostly off of Rankings.

This year is one of FCIACs worst years mainly because teams like Ridgefield who had state champs and ne placers out of Paulish and Blank has nobody this year. In a year or two FCIAC will clearly be the toughest division.
