So after watching the LL tournament this weekend, nothing is guaranteed. Many Many upsets. With that said I made a list of the state open teams who are sending the most wrestlers to possibly predict the tournament winner.

Danbury- 9
Xavier- 7
South Windsor- 7
Bacon- 6
Fairfield Warde- 6
Killingly- 6
Waterford- 6
Somers- 6
Gilbert- 5
Ledyard- 5
New Milford- 5
Bristol Central- 5
platt- 4
JLaw- 4
Amity- 4
Southington- 4
Avon- 4
Hall- 4

It appears Danbury will win the tourney. If Danbury was going to loose a tourney this year it would have been LL's. But it probably wont be an easy win. They have 9 placers going, I dont think Bryant at 103 will place at least not top 4, Winters won a close match to carpenter, I dont think carpenter will let that happen again so I dont see him taking top 4 either, or hancock 171.

I think if it comes down to any two teams for the open it will be Danbury and South Windsor.

Danbury is sending:
5 1st place
1 2nd place
3 3rd place

South Windsor is sending:
4 1st place
2 2nd place
1 3rd place

Danbury has almost guaranteed great performences (1st place) coming this weekend Costanzo and Schaeffer. Brian Jennings, JD Damaci, Humphrey Swift will most likely place top four. Dylan Bryant and Dylan Hancock will score some good points for them, but I don't see them placing. Damien Winters is a toss up at this point. I do believe he will win a few matches and has a great shot at placing top 6.

If South Windsor is to have any sort of chance at beating the hatters everyone needs to contribute this weekend. Dylan Rinker and Jake O
Dell needs to place top 6. Nick Healy, Seth Rothburg, Eliot Lopez, and Mike Ingalls can all put themselves in the open finals and if they do they will give South Windsor really give Danbury a run for it. Joe Sargenti is also almost guarenteed to do great this weekend so that can only help South Windsor out.

It may come down to bonus points and which team wrestles back better.
