For anyone who hadn't seen him before NEs what'd ya think? The kid's a beast isn't he. He walked through 160 all year. He coulda don't just the same at 171. In fact, he's beat up on most of the MA 171s already this year. I wonder what weight he'll go next year. My guess is 171. (He missed weight at 160 in the begining of the year a few times.) So anyone thinking of going 171 next year with hopes of a NE title....don't!

Also the kid's only a junior and he has a little brother. A freshman 125. Give that kid a year or two and watch out. The young Williams will be a future NE champ guarenteed.

i saw wiilimams wrestle in the ma finals on the masswrestling website. he really doesn't seem to work that hard. he did give up a few things here or there but he is strong and delibertate. definately a great wrestler. i had a guy at the new englands at 160. in the prelims, he lost to bedar from lowell. williams has bedar's head on the mat the whole match! williams will win it again next year.

Williams didnt even look like he was trying. That Beddard kid wasnt good on his feet and looked like he was gassing from the first period. I feel like there was a lot of Isaiah Williams we didn't get to see. I want to see how he'll wrestle at nationals where the kids are a lot more intense and are a lot better on their feet
