I just wanted to clear up 1 thing. 140 in MA was stacked. There were 5 studs in the NEs just from MA. All 5 could beat eachother on any given day. Many times if a kid takes 4th in his own states then wins NEs people might think it was a fluke or that he hit the bracket just rite. Not the case @ 140 with Telhada this year. He's real tough. Fact is him, Barucci, Lindsay, Pope and Blaco are all studs especially the 1st 4 names I said. At All-States Telhada lost in the semis to Barucci. Barucii beat Blanco in the quarters 3-2 and in the finals got screwed in regulation by the ref the lost in OT to Pope. In other words these kids beat up in eachother all year so give Telhada credit not only for winnig but for coming back tough after taking just 4th at All-States. |
