Hey I just wanted some opinions on this question...

I just finished my senior year and made my class tournament final and I am looking to wrestle in college. Considering I have little to no freestyle experience, do you think it would be better to spend the offseason learning freestyle or perhaps rather spending the time perfecting folkstyle technique? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Anything helps.I mean as long as your on the mat.folkstyle will help you over all but its always good to mix it up with freestyle.freestyle can teach you to take someone down right away rather than half shot and hope to scramble out of it because you would be giving up points in freestyle. though freestyle doesnt work anything on bottom so i say mix it up and learn from both
