Nominations are now being accepted for members of the Connecticut wrestling community for induction into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. The Connecticut Chapter of the Hall of Fame will hold an induction dinner next spring to honor outstanding athletes, coaches and contributors to the sport of wrestling from Connecticut.

The men and women who will be honored will include those who have demonstrated a lifetime service to the sport (coaches, officials, contributors), former wrestlers who have distinguished themselves in the community and their chosen profession and individuals who have exhibited courage in the face of adversity. Applications for the 2010 banquet must be received by June 30.
