I live in torrington and am looking to get some practice in for the nutmegs, the Y has a clinic this summer but I am over 18. (33) Anyone know where I can get some practice kind of nearby? Thanks

Starting when school ends, RHAM will be having open mats that are hosted by "CT Grapplers". All ages are welcome and all that is required is a current USA Wrestling Card.

How do I go about getting one of those cards and where is RHAM?

It's a long way from Torrington. Northeast Enfield, Knapp South Windsor, and Rising Star in Hartford are alot closer.

RHAM is in Hebron, Connecticut. I am pretty sure it is about 30 minutes from Torrington give or take a little.

I take that back it's about an hour haha my fault. Offer is still good, however.

I am still looking for a place near torrington to get some mat time before nutmegs!

I have an adult wrestling class at my gym on Tuesdays at 6:00. It's mostly takedowns. The ground stuff is geared towards jiu-jitsu but I have a few former wrestlers you can do folkstyle with. Stop by and try one free class and see if you like it. I promise you will get a great workout.
