Seems to me that warde is on it's way to becoming one of the next powerhouses in the state of connecticut amature highschool wrestling. Having won the class l stte championships last year and finishig second in the star coaches poll last year as well as finishing the season at 22-1 it seems that wards is heavily favored to win the state title again. Strong returning wrestlers include bobby rigilano evan Fraser ian mcallistar ian markowitz alex delaney several of whom posses the ability to win the individual open chamionships and go on to have succes at new englands. Wat does the rest of the wrestling community think?

Yes he was from Warde. He wrestled JV for us last season. He has graduated and obviously has alot of free time to talk smack in the middle of the summer.

Lets stop talking trash about Ross Manley and move back to the original topic. Ross was a good wrestler stuck without a spot between three very good ones. Someone who wrestles and give the in/off season commitment to the sport deserves more respect than that.
Will Warde continue to be a perennial powerhouse? In my my opinion its entirely possible. Warde has an excellent coaching staff, a great youth program, and a tough schedule every year that seeks tough in state as well as out of state competition. What more could they need...
