i heard bobby rigilano of warde was recently stabbed.... does anyone have any informantion on this? waarde wrestles or coaches that may be able to fill us in...

I don't personally know Bobby but I know a few people involved so here goes...

Basically there were two groups of kids in fairfield jumping each other back and forth one...one kid got jumped so a bunch of his friends jumped those kids and so on and so forth. What I HEARD was that Bobby was present but did not take any part whatsoever in one of the jumpings, wrong place wrong time. He was on the corner of tunxis hill in fairfield in his car and four kids smashed his windshield. When Bobby got out of the car one of the kids then stabbed him multiple times. I was told he suffered I think five wounds and has a punctured lung.

I know for a fact that Bobby had no part whatsoever in any of the fights that occured and its awful what happened. I saw him wrestle at nutmegs and his work in the off season really showed. The scumbag** that stabbed him was put up on a $250,000 bail which unless by some God given miracle is met will mean that this kid is facing some serious jail time. I'm not sure how Bobby is currently doing but I heard of his condition the other day and don't wish to share that...

I don't mean to be intrusive in any way of Bobby's situation I just want to share the true story to the wrestling community to ensure a good wrestlers name is not ruined. If anyone feels this is not appropriate please say so and I will remove this post.
