I know of a very fine blade who is sure to come out of retirement for the Cardinals. He was in the fastest J16 coxless four in the country some years back. At least he won the inter-regionals so I suppose he was. He then went on to win a silver medal in front of the world's media at the inaugural supersprints regatta at Eton a couple of years ago. With that track record I am sure he could be persuaded away from bayonetting people in the backwoods of Norfolk. I think we all need him back.
