DO you know the name of the show that I went to as well as the name of the show on my tape (20/5/02).Anyway,I recently wrote a letter to POW(Power of Wrestling)Magazine about the show and enlosed some photos so keep readin` that rag to see if they print them.I`ve been keepin` busy lately and the hardest thing I did was pull a raft up the river.I`d tied the raft up when the river was very low but the dam started to release heaps more water and the raft came loose and floated about a KM down stream .So I had to pull it up.I started at 4 pm and finished at about 6:10pm.Some people looked at me strangely for being in the river at this time of year but believe it or not it wasn`t to colod.It was so stenuouse that when I started walking home it felt like I was walking on air.Anyway ,sorry to ramble on.Thanks for the memories,ACW`s biggest fan:James/C.O.D.

Finally I have come back to this site!Sorry I haven`t posted for so long.It`s `cos the school librarian was away all this week and the library was closed.Anyway,who was that who replied to my last message.Was it Ivy and she just forgot to put her name in or was it someone else.I got a peice of glass in my foot and pulled a muscle in my leg also.It wasn`t while wrestling though `cos I haven`t wrestled since the summer.I got the glass in my foot while walking in our kitchen and that was last night and I still haven`t got it out.I pulled the muscle while ruuning along the road with me mate last night.One last thing-please don`t close the site.Leave it up and change the address,`cos that`s all u have to do if u know what I know.

Hello,I made a mistake in me last message.I`ll ge 16 in yr 10.So if wrestling requires no more than a school certificate I can live at me aunty`s in Mt. Riverwiew and come to training.There is also a heap of weights and stuff there so that could come in handy.But I`d rather stay down here and finish school so that`s what I`d probably do.I can drive up to training and when I`m down here I can go to the gym,And weightlift at me mate`s house.I can also swim down the river(I do that now)with me mate dean.We have a spot known only to us and a few other people.We have a raft and stuff and go there nearly every day.We also swim at the low-level bridge an splash cars which is good running,swimming and hiding practice if they pull up.(MESSAGE CONTINUED)

My parents say u can`t make it in wrestling in Australia.So can u live well on ACW`s salary alone.
Do u hyave to attend EVERY training session.When I`m 16 I`ll be in yr11 and I could probably train every weekend.

Is being a wrestler a hard life or is it fun or what?
Andy Harpas made the ACW rings for years and years with the assistance of John the Head Ring Guy. He got the materials from hardware shops and steel manufacturres and so on, its quite a detalied list, youd have to ask for the Harpas' help in the design and so on. Its actually too big a job if you just want a backyard ring
Ring Attire- some guys get it made, some just buy stuff, some people design and make thier own. You can get stuff like tights made to order at any dance place.Costume shops have some good ideas and some people just troll the op shops until they find something "different"
You get paid. How much depends on lotsa things- like how important you are to the show. Obviously some people get paid more than others but what we all get paid is not an issue we all discuss. Can you live on the wrestling salary alone? Some people do alright but most would reguire a day job 90% of the time. This could change in the future, but only if every worker in Oz pulls thier socks up.
EVERY training session is what we want. It shows on the show who trains and who doesnt and thats something we as wrestlers care about. While evry training can be impossible, especially in the beginning we expect trainees to TRY and be there or we frown upon thier unbelievable slackness. Now when you train all the time you can pretty much be guaranteed that you'll be used on the shows alot cos you're THERE! And then you know whats going on on the hsow and so on... But you get given dates and times of the show and if you cant do that , they can get someone else, thats how it works EVERWHERE in the business. Some people go to every show regardless of whether they"re on or not.
Hard life- it can be very frustrating but its a lot of fun, if you like hard work and are willing to learn (from anyone and everyone-some people who you dont think are " great" wrestlers can still teach you something) But its fun if you're willing to work as a team member, work hard and give 150%. Personally I've had a great time, learnt new stuff, had some pretty out there experiences, made some friends that I never to expected to but will never forget as long as I live and I love every blessed minute of it. Converselt some people just drop out cos it doesnt deliver what they want from it- its down to the individual and the effort they're willing to expend

Sorry Jimbo- Rob wasnt there Thursday and doesnt know what happened and he didnt see all of Sunday either ( he was gossiping) and we aint allowed to discuss ACWs future. Actually its not yet decided whether to update or not but we were considering a " best of ACW" photo setup thing, with the wrestlers memories of some matches, cos while the future is unclear, its really worth it to keep working at the site( site closes in October uless u know who decides to renew it)

Good day.Hello Neo,are you a regular reader of this Board.Anyway,where were u in the crowd on Sunday.If u are who I think u are u were standing ud near the front right near the set where I was at the commentary position.Anyway on Friday I went to Katoomba and walked up the Great Staircase.Ican tell u I was stuffed before halfway and me and my friends now know it as the staircase of Hell.We went on the Scenicender and went to the edge and it was a bloody good day.

Hey Jimbo. Good to know you'll be there. As for the answers to your questions I dont Know! It goes for an hour or so. At shopping centres there usually is no seating, everyone just stands around the barricades at ringside. Make yourself known and someone will make sure you get a good spot. Whos on? Poison Ivy v Wildfire, Cobra Tai v High Voltage and then either a rumble or a tag match. I'm not sure of the details but I'll find out for ya and tell ya tomorrow, even tho I am a bitch who cant stand you.

It was a story that appeared on VOX POPULI about wrestling and went into the World Championship days of the 70's when it was shown on channel nine at prime time.

I suppose its time that I fessed up, whilst this wont come as a surprise to any of XDC, its time the rest of you cretins knew the truth. THERE NEVER WAS A BOARD GUY! It was just a scam of mine to get yet another PAYCHECK off ACW. Y'see this is the thing- I went to the ACW office and said " I gotta hire someone to do the Board editing cos if I do it everyone will say I'm biased (Hahahahahahaha). So dya want to hire someone or will I?" And because the ACW office is currently full of computer illiterate morons they told me to handle it. So I made up a persona, called it Board Guy, pretended I was nice and still made sure the Board always turned out in favour of me and mine. G`day again.I had a pretty good weekend except 4 getting pulled over by Cowra`s resident Bad Guy copper Vickory.He reckoned that my grandma didn`t have her seatbelt on when she did.He let us off but didn`t admit that he knew that we were right.Anyway,I haven`t yet got that $1.25 so can I have your merc Ivy?Anyway in 2 weeks we`re getting a Mitsubishi Magna SE,a `94 model.Our old,smashed up car is being sent to Sydney 4 scrap .So if u see a Mitsi Magna TP that`s had it`s back smashed in being dragged along on the back of atruck it`s mine.Anyway,here are some orders:Do a show in Cowra,NOW!,stop knockin` my town and reinstate that guy u fired!And that`s the bottom line,`cos the C.O.D SAID SO!

From where I come a Cod is a prize catch.We once caught one trawling in Wyangla Dam and it was a moment of triumph.We through it back `cos we didn`t have something to measure it with to make sure it was over the legal limit ,but after we throught back we were told that it was takable `cos the limit never changed and was still 20inches and not 25 that was proposed but never got approved.Anyway my friend Blob is not too happy with you.So should reinstate me and the guy that u fired `cos it`s not a pretty site when he gets angry.Any way,our car was totalled the other day in an accident and we have to get a new one.Anyone who wants to help me get a new one can send donations to me through Youngblood.(He`s got my adress)Ihope Youngblood and co. are going well.Reinstate That guy and that`s an order!!!

Yeah Board guy is cool, he helped me out when people on this board were being rude to me for liking Youngbllood and he helped me with some computer stuff I didnt know before. gave me stuff and told me how to use it and he is always helpful and friendly
