I took my mom's HD to my office to work on the ISP connection. TUrns out I can only get 28,800 out of the modem on her phone line, but it worked fine in my office. ISP company said it's the phone line, Best Buy said it's the phone line, phone company said it ain't their responsibility..
Can it be the modem AND her phone line???
NOt sure another modem would solve this problem...
