Tank training??

Interesting pic for sure. I can't help feeling this might be some sort of disinformation attempt or?? I dunno, I honestly cannot see where this thing on the tracks could be very useful for training tankers, except possibly for a very rudimentary familiarization of the basic functions of the vehicle before getting aboard an actual tank. I mean seriously, the thing can't even turn left or right, it's straight ahead only, and damn the torpedos! At best, this thing is a very crude and cheap way to get prospective tankers familiar with some of the more basic controls. I can't imagine the individual tanker recruits spending much time in these contraptions, but maybe someone can tell us more about what exactly this thing is for. Thanks for the pic anyway.
