Incidentally, only an idiot would think that Yanukovich is "pro-Russian". Yanukovich is Kuchma #2. Can Kuchma be described as "pro-Russian", even though he ran on such platform against Kravchuk 10 years ago? And I really fail to see what Putin has to do with both sides' voting irregularities.

A more correct way to put it is they are trying to tip the scale in favor of Yuschenko.
