Response to Russian Political Scientist Blames Polish Conspiracy for Ukraine Election Crisis (from JRL

It's recycled....replace "Polish" with "Jewish" or "Zionist" and replace "Zbigniew Brzezinski" with "Richard Perle"...

So often politcal events are viewed with a jaundiced eye, conspiracies, power plays from outside the countries borders, payoffs, and it is unfortunately rational to view political events this way given the "political upbringing" of many new voters, including Ukrainians.

Even U.S. Sec Powell's support of Yuschenko is viewed as some sort of power struggle against Moscow rather than the more accurate, and important answer that it's a postion in support of democracy and specifically, the processes of democracy, which are critical to a democracy's health and success.

It may be a generation or two away, unless the electorate can quantum leap their faith and belief in the process and system, but I pray for the day that it works in Ukraine, and people have faith in their vote, and that the vote determines the outcome, not power brokers.

The process is the end game here imho.

I should have been careful to add, that many observers, my self included, fully understand the jaundiced eye of the Ukrainian voter. Unfortunately, they've been taught by the wrong teachers. At least in how to run a democracy. I hope they can overcome the shackles of their prior political experiences.
