Well, the point is not that Yanukovich is pro-russian - in this, as in much else, he is not essentially different from Kuchma, with whom everybody has lived for the past ten years and could have lived with for ten more (if it hadn't been unconstitutional, that is). The point is that nobody believes the elections were tolerably fair, and that Yanukovich was proclaimed the winner as a result of large scale election fraud. That's a bit rich for countries and organisations who see themselves as a community of values in a very real sense.
