So why is it that while the Germans killed a thousand times more Poles than the Soviets, the Russians are hated a thousand times more than the Germans? It makes no sense to me. Can anyone explain?

{Because historically the Polish believe that Russia/USSR are their primary opposition/oppressor - not Germany. I don't know if all Poles hate all things Russian but the ones i've encountered generally share this characteristic. It's sad, but as Oleg put it, it's just an inferiority complex they have yet to deal with.}
