Hi all,

New in the forum.
I am currently starting the turret of my Eastern Express BT-7A model. The turret features a KT-28 gun. Three DT machine guns are provided in the kit, two inside and one on top. I lack information however about the following:
-The 71-TK-3 radio appears to have been a rather cumbersome device. From research I found that the amount of ammo for the gun had to be reduced in order to be able to install the radio in the turret, as no friction ring contact was available at that time.
If ammo had to be reduced it would seem logical to me that there was also no room for the rearward firing DT machine gun inside the turret. Two men, a KT-28 with ammo, two DT machineguns with ammo, and a radio, all inside one turret?
I have read that the armament consists of two DT machine guns, if so, is the outside mounted machine gun included?
-Does anyone have information, drawing perhaps, of the arrangment of a KT-28 equiped turret? Similar turrets appear to have been used on the BA-6.
Any help greatly appreciated,

David V
