I'm a rookie to shooting airguns. I bought a daisy proline 990 multi-pump pneumatic airgun.
I mounted a .22 rifle scope on it (weaver 4x). Would it be beneficial to purchase an air rifle scope? I have read recommendations for a tech force 4x32 and gamo equivalent, but they have been for spring air guns (recoil). Any feedback is appreciated.

I have a Tech force 4x32 on my Gamo 500 springer. It has held together for nearly 2 years. Mine was made by BSA. It should last a long long time on a pneumatic since they have no recoil. My scope has an adjustable objective lens for different yardage (very important for correcting parallax, Most cheap 22 rimfire scopes do not have this feature.
