Have you noticed how many people are roaming around with Che Guevara T-shirts on?
I was talking to my friend (who's non-political, but wears a Che T-shirt, which he bought in Cuba, when he was over there spending his rich US dollars and not tipping anyone) about the irony of buying merchandising of a person who was absolutely opposed to merchandising....
He didn't get it.
Capitalism does have its good points though:
1. The poor have a goal to achieve (to make someone else richer)
2. You can illegalize slavery and still have your products made for 50$ cents an hour in India by 11 year old girls.
3. You can blame the Third world for their own poverty.
4. You can make millions from the drugs trade because it's illegal, and you can make sure it remains illegal by spending some money on buying politicians and owning a few newspapers.
God...
