| I'm looking for the stock igntion timing setting for a '94 Golf with an 2.0. Is it 6 degree BTDC like an older knock sensor VW? What do you guys generally set them at?

Although you can nip the pins off the dist to allow it be to turned, or put an adjustable cam gear onto the intermediate shaft if you want to mess with it. Dunno if the ecu will override the adjustments though.
