1 .I am about to build my Hybrid JH /3A Engine, And I was wondering if there was a way to calculate the engine compression ratio? (ie. 10:1, 11:1??)

2. Once I have completed building it with a G grin cam and A1 Header on 2.25" exhaust system, with ported and polished head, ported and polished intake , audi 5K TB, lighteneed flywheel and newly rebuilt 9A tranny with MOly synchros, bolt kit and 80% LSD. (Gawd so many parts to put together in my garage..lol) does anyone know a place to get this Dynoed right in the Dallas, TX area ?

These might be useful:

http://intenz.gotdns.com/~eric/cars/vw/stuff/vw_engines.html

http://intenz.gotdns.com/~eric/cars/turbo/compression/compression.html?cylinderBore=82.5&cylinderStroke=92.8&gasketBore=83.5&gasketThickness=1.80&headVolume=45&pistonVolume=-4

And When you say 80% limited slip, do you mean the velocity "limited slip" kit? It is POS that does nothing, I wouldn't waste your time with it. I have it in my scirocco and didn't notice a difference when it was new. Now I can turn the wheels independantly with my hands. When new, we measured that the shims kept the wheels together until about 25lbs of torque was applied to one wheel independantly.

Yes I am talking about the 80% slip differential, I have heard from some people that it was great and some people that have mentioned similar claims has you have, it is now purchased and installed.

As you already probably know, the 80% LSD kit is only for transmission that had the factory 20% LSD installed on it on them, the 9a did. I have heard a few people install them on non 20% LSD trannies and have less than good to no results or differences on their trannies. Though I am in no way stating this is your case, I guess I wil find out when the engine is rebuilt and in the car if indeed I get any benefits from this LSD kit.

I thank you for the other information you provided me with exactly what I was looking for (compression calculator) .
