the pedal on my car has been giving me some trouble. if i hit the brake hard there is no problem, but if i hit the brakes softly the pedal will stick just barely enough to keep the brake light on. the brakes arent engaged but the light does stay on. anyone know how to adjust the pedal so it comes back higher id be thankful thanks

but many have an adjustable pushrod. (just a lock nut and threaded rod)
Also, the brake light switch is usually adjustable (threaded casing).
