well i finnaly turbo'd my 2.0 16v a2 jetta. the one that went 14.7@93.5 mph. on motor. with some headwork,tt camset,full exhaust,and lots of weight reduction.
now ive been running 7 psi with a super60 t3 on a turbonetics manifold with a externalwasgate. non intercooled with a custom chip. it'll pull 7000rpm in fouth(9a trans)with 205 50 15s in measured 1/4mile. im assuming that about 105 108 mph.
but for next year i would like to run some 52#injectors,sds,a good sized front mount intercooler. and a short runner intake. i like the billet one from rossmachine. do thoose plans seem about right. im looking for about 275/300whp with 15 17 psi of boost.and if all goes well. ill take it to the track and hopefully surprise myself. this time ill post some pics with my new project.
