Rick, you are right, now I remember we did call it "the Italian store". LOL sometimes my memory is shot. I remember the family too. There was a curtain hanging in the back door way where I think the family lived. We always stopped there on the way to school and on the way home. Seems all we ever did was stop at candy stores:) Do you remember Jenny's on Manchester Ave. with the penny candies? She had a huge variey. I think the biggest variety of all the stores. I literally remember using my lunch money sometimes when I went to school 5, and buying a 100 pieces of candy. Probably reason I had so much dental work:)
