I still recall that big curtain in the back of the store which did seperate the living area from the store. I can still remember the aroma of that place to this day. Mrs Maggi had bright red hair and seemed to always have a smile on her face. The last time I saw her was back in the late 80`s and I swear she still looked the same. There was also an older man who worked there who we called Mr. Malone. I don`t remember Jennys store but I did go to the bakery at Union and Manchester now and then. I put a few of my Dentist`s kids through college myself!!
