Hi Jo Jo,
When I was ten years old we lived in the Eastside Projects (before we moved to BSP). Eastside Projects were bordered by 27th Street on the west and McLean Blvd. on the east.
Just before Easter when I was ten years old, my Mom and Dad gave me money to buy a complete Easter outfit. (This was my first lesson in budgeting). All alone, I took the bus to downtown Paterson and purchased shoes, socks, dress, gloves, purse and hat, and brought home change from $20!!!!
Hope this gives everyone on BSP website a chuckle! I never forgot the experience nor the lesson in budgeting.
