My parents alway said that when we moved in there were no paved Rd's and no sidewalks. My brother Joey was born in 1951, he was 1 month old and I was 3 yrs. old when we moved in.
I remember when they tarred Ryerson Ave. Oh ! how terrible that smell of tar was.
I remember the barracks very well. I had a huge crush on Steve Barr. Bobby Meyer also lived there & Alan Bradbury. My mother & his mother were best friends.
Oh! how I wish that I could go back once more to see everyone, but that's impossible.
