been carving for about 3 months now love it found your forum and have already learned a ton my question is wood how much i found a local land owner who has provided me with 3 8 foot cedar logs 12 ,to 15inches 2 5 ft. x 20 ash logs really hard but nice wood and he has alot more but i have given him a name log a eagle 2 foot and a bear 4 foot seems like hes winning .if i cARVE 1/3 OF THE WOOD HE GIVES ME FOR HIM . where do say no.
