      In an effort to ride the shirt tails of some truly accomplished sculptors, and hopefully elevate myself above my own actual accomplishments, I want to remind everyone about the Huskycup competition starting the week of the 20th in Germany- and also throw some bigs names around- of course selfishly hoping I will eternally be grouped with these names and forever be famous in the gigantic world of chainsaw carving.

      I am very excited to carve with and learn from my "team King" members Bob King and Chris foltz, and equally excited and honored to carve against Jeff Samo, Ken Packie, Thomas Vrba...Simon O'rourke, Tommy Craggs and Michael Tamozsus...Ricardo Villacis, William Echeverria, Pablo lopez.... Edith Plazotta, Stephanie Huber and Nansi Hemming.

      In case you do not know, each team must construct and carve a full size Fresian horse and rider. (my team drew King Otto of the 900's)

      I hope to update Facebook throughout the competition and will update this forum upon return with information about the event and the resulting art.

      Most importantly, my best wishes for safe travels to all the competitors.

      We can't wait ot kick your a....I mean ... best of luck at the competition.
