what kind of spraypaint do you use and cutting oil based deck stain

Any preferance for spraypaint makes?Also I want to cut some oil based deck stain so i can spray it on easier but dont want to weaken the mildewcide,any suggestions on how much I can cut it.

How many coats are you planing to spray??? The rule of thumb is go from lean to rich. So... if you are planning to really coat it, then start with 50-50 then each additional coat add more oil base material. Otherwise you don't have to thin it that much. Doc

Specially formulated oil based sign paints, two coats hard as a rock, but flexes with the wood, so it takes it a lot longer to start peeling.One shot requires the use of a three part mix, refer to auto paints , it's the old school air brush artists favorite paint, world wide.Lot of people replaced one shot with liquitex, which is less complicated to use, but doesn't ginear the same results, over time.No need to cut stains, get a gun with a needle, if using air, you can adjust most air brush needles to spraythe consistency of un thinned varnish.
