So, if anyone have nice pictures of chainsaw carving piece with Airbrush, please posting here.

Specially I want to see Bob King's duck piece that was won at Echo cup 2006. (I hope Cindy is looking at this.)

Important point.

"I had nice pictures of chainsaw carving piece with airbrush, but my PC was crush and pics was gone...."

It's likely that many other carvers are unprepared to recover from a computer crash. Lost data is a very common, yet easily preventable, occurance. All one needs do is spend a little money on an external harddrive and periodically copy all personal files to the external drive. If you back-up [copy to external drive] once each week, You'll never loose more than the past 6 days of data (pics, email, accounting, etc).

As for Aya's crashed computer, It's always possible to recover your files from the dead harddrive. Sometimes it's as simple as taking it to your techy friend. Other times it can be very expensive...

Very good news on you coming to the USA

August 12 2009, 9:25 AM

It will be so good for your family to be together, all the time. Freddy is sure growing up fast and is a good looking boy. Soon he will be too big to ride on my shoulders.
The air brushing art is mind blowing beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Aya!!

August 12 2009, 12:16 PM

I am currently in Germany, so I don't have the pictures you asked for. The carving you were talking about was done with watered down paint and a paint brush. I know Bob would like to learn to use the air brush more, but he never seems to get the extra time to play with it. You can find pictures of the sculpture on this site... http://www.echo-usa.com/carvingseries/2006/

Congratulations on finally getting your paper work through. My new son in law Ryan just got his this week as well. It only took him 6 months, so I guess he was very lucky.

I hope that you and Michael are able to come out west and carve now! I miss you and still have not met the baby!

Take care,
Cindy

NO Chainsaw NO Life I love it. Walking in his daddy's footsteps for sure. Glad to hear you are getting things straightened out with imigration for your return home to PA. Great airbrush work. So when will you be airbrushing? :~)

I was just with some fantastic airbrushers in the Black Hills that I plan to work with next year. The Wizard from New Middleton, Ohio unbelievable work.http://www.wizardairbrushgraphics.com He is the King of flames.

"No Chainsaw No Life" is my original.
If you like it, I will make that T-shirt for you, Jim!

Anyway, Thanks for great Airbrush artist's link.
You mean, you will make the work with the airbrush artist next year?
Do you and the airbrush artist jointly make the sculpture?
It is very interesting!!

>So when will you be airbrushing?
I learnt the airbrush from YUSUKE only just a little.
However, I do not have airbrush tool.
I will work hard that the burning pen is mastered for the time being.
I will start airbrush next year, I hope.......

Thanks,
Aya
