Hi all

Just a quick reminder that Carvecarrbridge Chainsaw Carving Competition is just under 2 weeks away which is to be held in Carr-Bridge on Saturday 5th September 2009, one week after the English Open.

We were full with a total of 26 carvers this year but unfortunately one of the carvers has had to drop out last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. If any of you find you have a free weekend for that date and wish to take part at Carve Carrbridge please do not hesitate to get in touch through our website.

For those who have not been along before this is a chainsaw only 4 hour speed carving event held in the Cairngorm National Park in the Highlands of Scotland just South of Inverness. Accommodation is available, for carvers travelling from further a field, and on the Saturday evening after the event we will be holding a ceilidh as in previous years.

We are sorry to inform you but there will be no novice category this year.

We look forward to hearing from you.

For more details and entry forms please visit our website www.carvecarrbridge.com - or drop us an e-mail at info@carvecarrbridge.com.

Best wishes,

Carol Ritchie
