I have a new web cam much better picture and sound. Inside is really good it will be nice this winter. See the live stream from the link below.
You can see the lighter hydraulic saw set up in action the next few day's I'll be doing a lot of carving this week filling orders. The giant bear sold so that needs to get finished too.
I have decided to cut relief cuts with my worm drive skill saw. I have done this in the past it's a little dangerous but the sawzall is just too tough on the tendons and joints plus it takes a long time. The skill saw wants to kick a bit but the worm drive is pretty stable if I take it slow. I'll record the cutting so all can see next time I slice a bear. The chainsaw takes too big a kerf for me.
My Dad said Ross and AJ did a great job in Hack. Congrats to all the winners and participants.
I have a new class structure here too I'll be renting the smaller hydraulic unit for $25 an hour to carvers who want to carve and learn at their own speed. I'm really too busy for structured teaching and this way I can just guide people as they need it. It should be good for local folks who want to carve on their own schedule.
Last thing I'm thinking of doing a news from Jacks Diner at a time each day... Not sure how creative I can be but it may be fun. I just love Garrison Kehler could be fun.
Hope you all are making some dough and saving for the winter....
