/ Hope I did this right!
What a BLAST!
The repeat shots are my fault. I always take many shots of the same pic because I have had the sun and clouds play tricks on me before. I slipped Chaz my card before any edit. (Just some of the pics are mine.)

I hope to have CD's done when the weather gets too cold for this old guy to carve. I will have the pics edited ( $1. / lb to have your picture photoshopped.) and there will be no charge for those who attended or were there in spirit.

This event was a great one for new carvers and hopefully better next year, all the carvers were willing to share what they knew. It was great to see Jim come and watch but next year we will make him carve. Because of my lack of organization the seminars did not happen but the carvers shared with all comers.

Chazfest was a first year event and it came off brilliantly. Of course there were areas that will be improved next year.

I hate to pick out any people because all, from new carvers to oldtime pros, were wonderful.

I must say that our hosts were unbelievable in there commitment and giving, they worked there butts off. They took care of their carvers and community. Outstanding people. Let it be know that this event was put on entirely by volunteers and no one made any money for themselves. In fact the folks involved are not wealthy folks, bartering and working hard to make it happen.

Desiree, Chaz, Renee, Randy...(Rudy) and thier family and friends gave of thier homes, hearts and lives. These are wonderful people. The world needs more like them. (special thanks to Mom for the great conversation and cookies.)

Dick Tilly gave of himself in so many ways, spending most his time teaching and spreading his unique personality and humor around. He travelled a long way to give of himself. We learned allot from a great carver. He has earned a place in many hearts.

I loved meeting all the carvers but I was really impressed with Roark, Brian C, John and wife, Mr. Ricks, Elmer, Steve and Chap mostly because I got to spend some time with them.

Our Chainsaw Chicklets were amazing.

The weather was great for carving and wet T shirts and mudwreslin.

We all had Collin in our hearts and minds, you were missed and next year we will all come and carry you if we have too.

So much more to say, but you will have to come next year to see how great it is.

Bob the bear hater.
