To the powers of this forum. What would it cost to have the EDIT or change ones post after it has been posted, what ever its called attached to this forum. I'd be willing to pay for it the first year.
My post below in the heading should have been spelled 'A Prayer for Dan'.
And would like to have been able to change it after seeing the mistake. I did use the review button but just didn't see the mistake.
So how much??? if with in reason

Hi Doug !
I'm not a "power to be" anymore but maybe can shed some light on your request. On Net54 the self-edit option is all or nothing. It was decided early on not to use the option because of the many personal & sometimes passionate topics. For example when someone can edit, or "un-say" something after others have taken the time to respond to, then it can look bad on them and change everything in an un-natural way. This far out weighs the inconvience of not being able to fix some small mistake or typo. I see that you previewed your post, this is good as many do not. I can say one more thing; In the 8 years i owned this forum i never edited my own posts, rather i would follow up with a correction. Hope this helps, take care -Joe
