Is anyone using the Makita cordless anfle grinder? I'm curious about the power and battery life.

Have one, handy for an occasional touch up, any serious use and you will spend more time changing

which will do in pinch, but take two fully charged batteries to do an almost respectable job on an 8ft bear. A good power inverter (DC to AC) on your truck would be a better investment. Look at the amperage output to be sure you have one big enough for your grinder.
