Split Rock Resort is having a fall festival this weekend.
This is not there first but it will be the first time that they have a carving event as part of
the festival. Along with music , games , and many other things , Saturday the tenth of October there will be a carving compatistion from 10 am to 3 pm. There will be peoples choise judging from 3 pm to 5 pm. Come and injoy a good time and be part of this first time event here in the Poconos.
I think there is some wine tasting going on also !








The carvers will be sell there work including invertory.
I will also be taking orders for custom work.
No the bear in the pictures was not a five hour carve.
But like the bear I hope this thing at Split rock grows.

I'd love to be there considering I'm only about 45 min away but I have another carving committment for Sat. & Sun. Please let me know of the dates for next year and I will keep the date open to plan on attending.

BTW ..Nice looking POCONO'S bear....Perhaps a checkered flag in it's hands will be a nice icon for your area!

Very nice bears. I wish I would of known about this event, Im already booked the 10th. Hope they have it next year.
