Changing over to a new computer with Vista makes editing pictures a difficult task, but better late then never, I say.

Here are views of the Competition from the highway.

A few notes of interest........

October 9 2009, 6:41 AM

2nd and 3rd place winners had minimal use of color. VERY MINIMAL. (are you listening Angie? happy.gif )XXXXOOOOO
3rd place piece was not even totally finished
The 3rd highest piece at auction was a quick carve bench
The spirit of the event was noted and commented on by the public....... VERY MUCH.
I am just totally amazed at how many people will drive long distances to volunteer their services and work SO HARD!! (You know who you are.) Thank you to all.

Wow!

I love the autumn lady, the back is as graceful and beautiful as the front. Do you have a finished picture of the arch, maybe I missed it. Jeff's wolves were great as usual as well... all the pieces were fantastic, I see I guessed wrong on Squirrels Facebook, on who carved all of them.
