Take a small pipe and bend it countersink it into the log make the tree fall at a angle.

I think Josh has a great idea and one more thing...carve some fresh chew marks where the beaver has been chewing, but don't stain it or burn it, keep it freshly chewed looking.

Maybe glue a stick with chew marks in them. It makes him look like a woodchuck. Doc
