A few pics of my first polar bear. I carved it out of red pine and decided to paint it because some of the grain was gray. I used exterior trim paint with some craft paint for the nose and eyes. Polar bears should probably have smaller ears and eyes but its a start.

...nice job....you're right about the ears....I think......I paint wildlife & our daughter loves polar bears!!!

Next time remember, polar bears have longer necks, and the only black is their nose and eyes, I din't know if they have black claws though. Just some thoughts, Doc
