God is blessing. We don't always know why we have to go through things. But I do believe God cares. It is great he is doing so good.
As a side note, your sculptures are really amazing lately. The Indian maiden with the water vase, The entrance to the house, The Lady Liberty, all beautiful and great workmanship and ideas.
What an amazing life this child has. Such a tremendous lesson he has taught us all. Sure does keep ya humble, doesn't it? I'm so glad to hear that everyone's ok and moving forward. Take care
Jeff, I was just wondering yesterday how Matthew was doing, and now we know. That's great to hear. We wish you all the very best and will continue to keep him and your family in our prayers. Buck and Gladys
Jeff and Dee, Tiffany and I are so happy Matthew is doing well. You guys have been in our thoughts and prayers a lot lately.I can't imagine going through what you guys have been through. We will continue to keep your family in our prayers.
While everyone is still praying
We had a friend and employee get hurt on the job 9/10/09
He is still in the hospital Tampa .
He was crushed under a building pelvis crushed internal bleeding
He was given 67 pints of blood the first two days .
He has regained most of the feeling in his legs Robby has had
14 surguries I believe up to today .
and several more in the future .
He could use some prayers also
Robby and my son went to school together and have been friends since middle school .
He recently got his degree and has been working for us waiting on a carreer
job to come along
Jeff, as I arrived at the shop this morning I was thinking
that I hadn't heard or seen anything regarding Matthew....
so this is good to hear. We're still thinking of you, Gary
Jeff my wife is having the same diagnosis with a 1-2 percent chance of recovery. She has spent the last 34 days in ICU. I would be happy for any info. you could share with me. God Bless your little boy. Hopefully you received my E-mail address
Jeff, Dee was meant to be in your life and you two were meant to have the blessing of this wonderful child. Now he has been blessed with a second chance. And now that we have ALL been blessed by you and your family, the world has become a better place. Dez and I appreciate the update on Matthew's condition and will continue with our prayers and well wishes. We have found with a family like all of these carvers, a lot of little (and big) miracles can happen. Glad to have you in the family, keep in touch ... Chaz and Dez
Jeff & Dee,
Thanks for the update. We continue to pray for Matthew and the rest of the family. It must be good to get back to a somewhat normal life again. We miss seeing you at the events, maybe we can make up for it.

glad to hear he's on the mend. its amazing and encouraging to see so many people being so responsive to needs. this so the best line of work/interest to be involved in! god bless
Great news Jeff. Justed logged into the post from Backus' place, because Steve and I were discussing matthew and your family. What welcome news to hear. If there is anything I can do, please ask. Is there any kind of Mattew Pinney fund?
KEN,
SOUNDS LIKE A CARVING COMP/AUCTION DONATION WOULD BE IN ORDER. I SUGGESTED TO MAL MAYBE DEDICATING THE VOUS TEE SHIRT TO THE LITTLE GUY WOULD BE FITTING.
