disappointed, To far to come for three days in Apr.
Maybe T and D can put something together in their town.
Anyway sorry to hear that it's not going to happen.

wood is slowly dying yes there niche markets and custom jobs and pockets of spots that still demand wood crafts but I got into metal a few years back adding it to my arsenal of art for profit , expect to see more saws at the pawn shopshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_N-7Qr8UOs
the hottest seller is ten dollar bills for 5
I need Ridgway

Im starting a carving festival in Mason MI, September 29,30, & October 1. I started this to break up the 12 months between Rendevous. This year we have 18 carvers. We also have food vendors, microbreweries, wood stuff vendors and bands. This is the first year for this, so im hopin it will build up. I got addicted to Ridgway and like the festivals. I need Ridgway to see friends i only see once a year.

that's not the same,three days in Apr.plus
it's not going to be set up the same
way. carvers come from a long ways most can't
make that kind of trip.A day there and a day back just
for three days. think about it.

19th Annual Chainsaw Carvers Rendezvous
Eighteen years ago, we set out to share with world the art of chainsaw carving. Now it’s time to take the art form to the next level; it’s time to give the public an art show!
April 26-28, 2018
Throughout the three days will be opportunities for interaction with skilled artists, to watch carving demonstrations, purchase finished pieces directly from the artist, and bid on quick carve pieces.
The biggest change for 2018 will be the absence of the auction on the final day. Instead, carvers accepted into this year’s Rendezvous will bring with them finished pieces to show and sell during the three day event.
We hope you will Rendezvous with us April 26-28, 2018 in Ridgway!
More information on how a carver can enter into the show will be available soon!
looks like an invitational
