we are looking for a two year old (or older) m/f staff . we have a female who (is very sweet) is quite lonley since her friend past on .( The dog we are intersted in must be good with children and dogs .) As we live in the country , we go camping, and to the beach quite frequently , we would like to find a nice m/f staff who likes to just spend time w/ their human/dog friends ,and who would like a forever home . The Pit that I am talking about is 2 years old and has had only one home since he was found at 4 weeks old. He lives with other dogs 3 Basset Hounds and a Yellow Lab. He gets along well with all of them. Email me if you want a photo of him.

hi, we recently rescued a pitbull mix. he is beautiful and good tempered but my friends that are keeping him temporarly can not keep him past the weekend. we took him to the vet and he is healthy and about 3 years old. he is the sweetest thing and i hate to have to bring him to the pound, they said they would put him to sleep if we bring him there. the vet also said that they yanked on him and touched every part of his body and he let them, he was very sweet they said. my neice and i rescued him from a neighbors backyard where he was tied to a fence with a 3 foot rope in the hot sun with no shade, water , or food. so now Rusty is in my friends backyard while we deseratly search for a home for him, he has until this weekend. can you help??? please contact me if you know of anyone or if you can help at 408-448-4950, or email me at dana95112@yahoo.com thnk you

Tracy I live in Vermont not sure where you are located I stubbled across this site looking for information on Amstaff. We have a male at our shelter that was family surrendered. Very Loveable guy. Know anybody in Vermont who might like? Likes other dogs lived with a female Amstaff who went bad and would pick fights with him. Older childern he likes owners tell us he is not found of smaller kids will walk away.

I rescued a wonderful male who came from bull rock he is 4 yrs old neutered lives with a 6 pound yorkie mix, 2 5 month old saint bernard mix pups , a peke/beagle mix and is sharing his pen with a needy pit pup rescued by a friend daughter he is 5 mths and has been made to fight by who ever had him but he is so good natured they the pit pup doesn't even start anything with him. he is house broke loves to ride favorate place is pet smart.this is the best natured pit i have ever met. the down fall is i am in viginia.
