Response to blocking hole
should have mentioned true Boss 302 heads on a Boss 302 or Boss 351 block. This is where the head gasket alone would work. Adding the std. C type heads to a generic W block does require the "A" deck end holes (A = the square holes depicted in the Ford photo) to be plugged.
