Well if you do have to rebore, try to get .020" oversize pistons.
Then you or the next guy (your grandson?) can go .040" and .060" in the distant future. If the first rebore is .030", then you probably have to go .060" next time and get one less rebuild.
It's pretty unlikely a cylinder ever wears to the point that it won't clean up at .020".
