Yes I am aware of the valve train geometry/ and guide issues. Just curious as to what these heads would support out of the box ? 237 CFM so I am guessing some where round 449 at 8,500 on 302 cid ?

for over 2,000 heads of all makes. You'll find 3 references to Holley's SBF Windsor Systemax heads although it's a large file and not easily manipulated.

Still, and although JDC (Joe D.) would be a better responder here as head porting expert, I don't think you can achieve your hp goal with UNPORTED Holley heads. 449hp/302CID = almost 1.5 hp per CID. That's a tall order even for a very well prepped engine.

But ported and with the right induction/exhaust system.....sure, you goal is achievable IMHO.

Holley rates them at 350HP on 302ci with their intake and 600 carb.

A stock 351W head only flows about 185-190cfm, it is difficult to get it to flow 230cfm without 1.9/1.940 intake valve, so these heads are better out of the box than any factory 221-255-260-289-302-351W head as cast. Joe-JDC.
