Both engines here have basically the same deal. Windage tray, HV Melling pump, clearances in the .002~.0025 range, the 2V has the flipped cam bearings, the 4V just the Moroso kit. I radius the exit from the pump and it's mating hole in the block and smooth that passage into the filter boss. I tore the 2V engine down after almost 2000 drag laps, everything looked perfect. That motor has over 1000 more passes on it now. The new 4V has only about 300, so it's not broke in good yet.
30 rounds a year? I couldn't stand that, we bring home over 20 time slips per car per weekend.
