Response to More questions on restrictor

The restrictors that were talked about come from the moroso oil restrictor kit made for the 351c. All of the restrictors that come in the Moroso kit are installed in the cam bearing passages with the exception of the one that has 3/8-16 threads and that is installed under number 5 main to block off the passage feeding the lifter galley to the driver side of the block(cylinders 5-8). Some people feel it is necessary to restrict oil to the number one main bearing because it has two passages feeding the main bearing (they put a plug in the passage going to the cam bearing between the crossover passage and the main bearing) but I have never done this as I feel it is counterproductive to restrict any of the main bearings and the bearing blocks off these passages only allowing as much oil as it needs.
