Looking for some additional info on your engine... it looks like you have been struggling with this thing for quite some time. You have tried different manifolds, carbs etc but it none of that seems to make any difference at all by the looks of things?
I suspect it is your cam thats the "problem". It looks like your running flat tops so you should have around 10.5+ CR ? ...depending on your deck clearance and actual chamber size.
The first thing I would be doing is a compression check, as others have surgested. If its down in the 150/160 psi area then you know your on the "right" track, based on 10.5cr.
Where are the Erson cams advertised valve events rated 0.006"?
